Much of the speeches and discussion from this month’s RSA Conference focused on the fractured trust in government, businesses, and tech companies, providing some helpful lessons to local governments in creating transparency and fostering trust.
And while there was some focus on the negative, there were quite a few positive notes from the vendor discussion on the floor of the RSA Conference. Eric Lundquist of EWeek found that the Conference emphasized the need to invest in people and processes, but pointed out the need to develop a comprehensive approach. What users really need from all software, not just security software, is a product that not only brings their processes into the 21st century, but one that also helps create efficiency and eliminate unnecessary steps.
Jon Oltsik of Network World points out that the RSA Conference vendors were focused on ease-of-use to minimize training and deployment, integration to consolidation of security technology to allow for easier access and use, and automation to preset complex security tasks.
And although IQM2 is not a security company, our suite of MinuteTraq, MediaTraq, e-Boardroom, and BoardTraq follows the same pillars that were the focus of this year’s RSA conference, allowing you to train up quickly with easy-to-use software, use built-in integration so that each product works seamlessly with the rest, and automate complex templates and workflows.
